Wayne Eric Wilson, 58, of Coulterville, IL; born on July 23, 1965 in Sparta, IL, the son of Jim and Pattie (McConchie) Wilson; passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Sparta Community Hospital.

Wayne worked at HGC Cleaning Services, cleaning many different homes and businesses.  He also worked in management at several different retail stores.  Wayne enjoyed gardening and tending to his lawn.  Most of all, he loved his six grandchildren and spending every moment he could with them.

Wayne is survived by his son – Eric Wilson of New Athens, IL; six grandchildren – Kyland, Ayris, Wyatt, Lyam, Lydia, and Kyllian Wilson; two brothers – Bryan Wilson of Evansville, IL and Gary Wilson of California; one sister – Cheryl (Jim) Carlson of DuQuoin, IL; other relatives and friends.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Renee Wilson.

    RIP Brother. Your journey on Earth sure wasn’t boring. I love you although we have never been brotherly close. I hope and pray you have found the peace you so yearned for in this life.
    Sadly, we siblings were just starting to reconnect after his stay in the hospital.
    The many condolences are overwhelming but in a good way.🤍
