Virginia Pauline Loveland

Virginia Pauline, nee Dykes, Loveland, 94, of Marissa, IL; born on January 27, 1924 in Tilden, IL; passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at the Coulterville Care Center in Coulterville, IL.

Mrs. Loveland worked for many years as a clerk at Elwyn’s Cleaners. She was a member of the Church of God in Belleville, IL. Pauline was a very loving and kind hearted person who will be missed by all those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents – Jacob and Martha, nee Shadrick, Dykes. Her husband – Vernon Loveland. Also preceded in death by six sisters and five brothers.

She is survived by her brother – Donald (Dorothy) Dykes of Camanche, IA.

Visitation: Friends may call at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Monday, May 7, 2018 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.

Funeral: Services will be held at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 1:30pm.

Interment: Burial will be held in the Marissa Township Cemetery in Marissa, IL.

Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL is in charge of arrangements.

    I remember all the visits with Aunt Pauline and Uncle Vernon when I was little. They always let me spend time with them when I was spend the week with Grandma Dykes. She will be a bright star in heaven and missed by all.
