Virginia Juenger

Virginia “Sis” Ada, nee Erb, Juenger, 94 of Marissa, IL; born September 19, 1918 to J. George and Ella, nee Bollmeier, Erb on Lehr Road in Washington County, IL was called home to live with her heavenly father on May 21, 2013.
Virginia was preceded in death by her three brothers – Harold, Vernon and Renald Erb, her husband Armin N. Juenger and a daughter-in-law Theresa Juenger.
Surviving is her son, Leland H. Juenger of Marissa, IL; her grandchildren – Patricia (David) Presley of Red Bud, IL; Devon (Judy) Juenger of Marissa, IL; Darin (Jennie) Juenger of Red Bud, IL.
Step-grandchildren – Denise Tucker of Arkansas; Rhonda Clutter of Marissa, IL; Pamela (Jesse) Zepeda of Coulterville, IL; Tammy (Jerry Morris) Luecking of Lenzburg, IL; and Jason (Ashley) Smith of Marissa, IL.
Great-grandchildren – Joshua (Mary) Wirth; Ashley (Ben) Narup; Ryne (Lindsey) Juenger; Kayla Juenger; Victoria (Adam) Krack; Tristan Juenger.
Several additional great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren and many friends and extended family.
Virginia worked for her brother Harold at Fay Inn in Fayetteville, IL, where she came to be sole proprietor. Many people will remember her for her smile and generosity.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tammy Luecking and Jerry Morris for providing exceptional love and care to Virginia as she became unable to care for herself.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
Visitation: Friends may call at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Sunday, May 26, 2013 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and on Monday, May 27, 2013 from 9:00am to 11:00am.
Funeral: Services will be held at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Monday, May 27, 2013 at 11:00am with Rev. Gail Geisel officiating.
Interment: Burial will be held at the Marissa Township Cemetery in Marissa, IL.
