Tenderly, may time heal your sorrow. Gently, may friends ease your pain. Softly, may peace replace your heartaches. And may the warmest memories remain.

Tyrese was my best friend, no doubt about it. I remember in 1st grade when he moved here I was shy to talk to him and Chaze. But I spoke up anyways, “Hey, do you wanna be my friend?” I was scared that they would say no, but they said yes and it was basically history after that. Me and Tyrese stayed close throughout the years, even if we hadn’t talked for a while. I wished I could have seen him on that stage shaking everyone’s hand. I’m gonna miss him. I am so, so sorry to everyone who has known him and who is close to him. I love you all and I hope someday we won’t be sad, but look back at the great times we shared with him.

Leslie, I can’t begin to fully understand the hurt you and your family are going through right now, but I know deep pain means there was also deep love for your son Tyrese. I pray for you, your family and all of his friends to find peace. He will truly be missed.

A bright intelligent young man that should not gone so fast. He did not make it through graduation with his classmates. He loves playing basketball with my son. Hang out with my daughter and her friends here in Sparta Illinois. He will truly be missed and loved by his friends and family never forgotten. Rest in Peace Tyrese

I can remember when i first met him when I was in 1st or 2nd grade. I used to look up to him, Chaze and Dariontez. It’s hard to see him go and I didn’t get a chance to ever say goodbye to him but as soon as I heard about him passing I wrote a song about it and I wrote a song with Bradlee Boyster too which he was also close to Tyrese. I’m gonna miss him and him and his family are in my prayers.
