Trudy Lee Brenning, 67, of Sparta, IL; born on March 28, 1952 in Sparta, IL the daughter of Delmar and Anna Mae Wittenborn; passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, IL.

Trudy worked at Spartan Printing. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her. She cared for all animals and showed a great deal of love for cows after growing up on a dairy farm.

She was preceded in death by her parents – Delmar and Anna Mae, nee Gardiner, Wittenborn. Three aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her loving husband – Wilbert Brenning of Sparta, IL. Five children – Todd Brenning of Belleville, IL; Kim Roehrkasse of O’Fallon, IL; Erica Brenning of O’Fallon, IL; Allen Wittenborn of Lenzburg, IL; Autumn (Joseph) Johnson of Blair, IL. Ten grandchildren – Ryan (Jenifer) Haury, Eric Brenning, Austin (Kelsey) Brenning, Ashley Brenning, Chad (Holly) Roehrkasse, Casey Roehrkasse, Dollie Wittenborn, Qhuinn Wittenborn, Colt Johnson and Maddeline Johnson. Five great grandchildren – Kaden Haury, Raelynn Haury, Dylan Roehrkasse, Avery Roehrkasse and Deven Roehrkasse. Three brothers – Robert (Janet) Wittenborn, Richard (Roberta) Wittenborn and Mark (Joanne) Wittenborn. Many other relatives and friends.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Randolph County Humane Society.

Visitation: Friends may call at Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Sparta, IL on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Funeral: Services will be held at Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Sparta, IL on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tom Foster officiating.

Interment: Burial will be held at Caledonia Cemetery in Sparta, IL.
