Thirma Jean McIntire, 91, of Sparta, IL; born on July 16, 1927 in Sparta, IL; passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019 at Randolph County Care Center in Sparta, IL.

Thirma was a beautician her entire life. When she retired from owning her own shop, she went to the Randolph County Care Center until the age of 90 to continue taking care of people’s hair. Thirma was a lifetime member at the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Sparta. She made quilts for the church and the Randolph County Care Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents – Hugh and Amy, nee Wilson, McIntire.  Five brothers, two sisters and one nephew.

She is survived by nieces and nephews. Other relatives and many friends.

Visitation: Friends may call at Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Sparta, IL on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 7:00am to 11:00am.

Funeral: Services will be held at Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Sparta, IL on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 11:00am.

Interment: Burial will be held at Union Cemetery in Sparta, IL.
