Shirley A. Juenger, nee Walta, 84, of Oakdale, IL, passed away peacefully with family around her at the Coulterville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Coulterville, IL on Monday November 15, 2021. She was part owner in B & J Auto Service, worked at Belleville Shoe Factory, owner of SB & J Farming and was a loving devoted wife, mother, grandma and great grandmother.
Mrs. Juenger was preceded in death by her husband – Joseph Juenger, who passed away on November 1, 2002, her parents – Albert and Ella (Meyer) Walta, two sons – Billy Joe and Bradley Gene Juenger, one great granddaughter – Ciersten Wilson, one great grandson – Huck Lea, two brothers – Dale Walta and Gary Walta.
Shirley is survived by her seven children – Betty (Dave) Johnson, Brenda Juenger, Bruce Juenger, Bryon Juenger, Barb (David) Orzechowski, Bridget (Paul) Bingle, Bobbie Vandiver, sixteen grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, brother-in-law – Ed (Delores) Juenger, one sister – Nadine Lake and sister-in-law – Helen Juenger.
Memorials may be made to the Coulterville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Coulterville, IL.
Visitation: No public visitation times are scheduled.
Funeral: Private family services will be observed.
Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL is in charge of arrangements.
