ReplySharon Heil was one of my teachers at Marissa School. She was more than a teacher, she was a mentor. She shared a little of herself with each one of her students and I can’t speak for all her students, but I know I believed every word she every said. She called me ‘Ms. Blue’ I never new why, maybe I wore blue more than other colors. Who knows. She made English fun and learning enjoyable.

ReplyI’m am saddened to hear of Sharon’s passing. I have quite a few great memories of Sharon despite living in PA most of my life. It brings tears to my eyes to sit here and reflect on them. She was my grandparents neighbor and friend in Marissa, we spent a lot of summers swimming in Eloise’s pool with Heather, Lindy, or her young granddaughters, she visited us in PA years back

ReplyI did not have the pleasure of meeting Lindy’s wonderful mother, but if Sharon was anything like Lindy, or vice versa, then she must have been a pretty great lady!!
