Sandra “Sandy” (Attwood) Dykes, 74, of Tilden, IL; born on January 23, 1946 in Troy, IL; passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at home.

Sandy loved to play Bingo.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and coloring pictures.

She was preceded in death by her husband – Charles Dykes who passed away on February 3, 2019.  Two children – Tracy and Robert Dykes.  Parents – Hubert and Theda (Roberts) Attwood. Two brothers – Jerry and Tommy Attwood.  One sister – Beverly Attwood.

She is survived by her son – Glenn (Lisa) Dykes of Tilden, IL.  Five Grandchildren – Jamie (Jeremy) Brockmeyer of Schuline, IL; Jesse (Christine) Ruch of Tilden, IL; Jaycie (Zack) Wright of Marissa, IL; Kurt Dykes of Tennessee; Jared (Heather) Smith of Tennessee.  Fourteen Great Grandchildren.  Three brothers – Roy Attwood, Jimmy Attwood and Robert Attwood.  Four sisters – Linda Braswell, Janet Haluch, Karen Walther and Carla Attwood. Many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.

Private services will be held for the family.

Interment: Burial will be held at Tilden Cemetery in Tilden, IL.
