Samuel “Sam” Hennrich

HENNRICH
Samuel “Sam” Walter Hennrich, 79, of Evansville, IL; born on January 1, 1942 in Waverly, IL; passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the Red Bud Regional Hospital in Red Bud, IL.
Sam spent his early years as an owner/operator of an International Harvester dealership and an automotive repair shop located in Sparta, IL. Sam later went on to work as a shop foreman for Consolidated Coal Co. After retiring, he operated a transmission repair shop and a peach orchard in Evansville, IL. Sam enjoyed getting together with his friends and spending time with his wife of 60 years, Beatrice. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his parents – Samuel J. and Reva (Lively) Hennrich; granddaughter – Christine Hennrich; daughter in law – Michelle Hennrich; two sisters – Iris Schmoll and Charlotte Kessel; one brother – James Hennrich.
Sam is survived by his loving wife – Beatrice (Pierce) Hennrich of Evansville, IL; three sons – David (Debra) Hennrich of Evansville, IL, Sam (Kim) Hennrich of Sparta, IL, and Jerrold (Rose) Hennrich of Carbondale, IL; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister – Maxine Glasscock of Sparta, IL.

Graveside memorial services will be held at Caledonia Cemetery in Sparta, IL on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim McIntyre officiating. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Sparta, Illinois is in charge of arrangements

Bea, I remember many great times with you and Sammy out at Mom n Dad’s. He was a great friend to both of them…. you both were! He was a talented man, blessed many lives. God has blessed you with many wonderful memories. (Joan BOYD Price)
