Sally M. Hall

Sally M., nee Hood, Hall, 78, of Marissa, IL; born on July 13, 1940 in Carmi, IL; passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in O’Fallon, IL.

Mrs. Hall was a retired rural letter carrier.  She was a faithful member of Grace Church in Chester, IL.  She volunteered with the Sparta Community Hospital Auxiliary.  Sally enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents – Herman and Hazel, nee Pyle, Hood.  One daughter – Marcella.  Three brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by her husband of over 60 years – Albert Hall whom she married on December 15, 1957 in Orient, IL.  Her sons – John Paul (Pamela) Hall of Coulterville, IL; Joe (Henrietta) Hall of Creal Springs, IL.  Her grandchildren – J.T. Hall; Bradly (Kari) Hall; Logan Handel; Nikki Hall; Rachel Hall.  Her great-grandchildren – Serena; Chelsea; Haven; Mackenzie.  One brother – Frank Hood.

Visitation: Friends may call at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 10:00am to 12:00noon.

Funeral: Services will be held at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 12:00noon with Rev. Ron Coleman and Sandy Wisdom-Martin officiating.

Interment: Burial will be held in Denning Cemetery in Orient, IL.

Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL is in charge of arrangements.
