Bob was the Democrat precinct committeeman, my dad, Bob Easton was a Republican committeeman. And they were best friends. Bob helped so many people. He truly had a servants heart. He was a man of integrity, honesty and great compassion. He would bring politicians to marissa and tell them that he would do his best to help them, only if they would be mindful of the good people of marissa. You may have been a strong Republican, but Bob still would do all he could to help you in any way he could. Why? Because Bob loved everyone. He was truly a great man. This world needs more men like Bob Beggs. I have to say, I loved the way he and my dad would decorate there cars at election time! Dad would have all Republicans, Bob would have all democrats! Lol those car top signs! Ha. I miss and love you Bob Beggs.

  2. Bobby Jacobs says:

I am very greatful to Bob Beggs and proud to call this man my grandpa. He, being the man that he is took me in and raised me as his very own, for 16yrs I looked up to him as a father figure. He gave me the tools I needed to be a man when no one else would. That takes a whole different kind of person. A person with a heart beyond measure. He was a wonderful, and Solid man. Always honest, and a hard worker. He loved his Wife, Louise very much. Now, I know they are together again, hand in hand, feeling good again. Until we meet again “pawpaw”.
