Robert L. Phillips, 82, of Fairview Heights, IL, born February 3, 1941 in Madisonville, KY, passed away on Tuesday September 5, 2023 at his residence with his family by his side. Mr. Phillips was a welder and also Deacon of Anchor of Hope Fellowship in St. Ann, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents  Press Ross and Anna (McCarty) Phillips and 5 siblings – Bonnie M. Graham, Irene Cross, Dean Stokes, Ross Phillips and Donald Phillips

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 63 years – the former Viola M. Graham, 2 daughters – Robin E. (David) Birmingham of Fallon, NV and Kimberly M. Phillips of Red Bud, IL.  He is also survived by – 2 grandsons – Robert Michael Philips of CA and Garrett Steven Carter of NV, 2 step grandchildren, 7 gr. grandsons, 1 gr. granddaughter and 1 gr. gr. grandson.

Visitation: Friends and family will be gathering from 10 – 11 a.m. on Friday October 6, 2023 at God’s House Pentecostal Church in Tilden, IL.

Services:  A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday October 6, 2023 at God’s House Pentecostal Church in Tilden, IL with the Rev’s Jack Morgan and Gene Etheridge officiating..  Interment will follow at Marissa TWP Cemetery in Marissa, IL.
