Robert Chambers “Bob” Moeller, 85, of Sparta, IL; born on September 2, 1937 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Herman and Ruth Ann (Chambers) Moeller; passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the Randolph County Care Center in Sparta, IL.

Bob earned a master’s degree in music education.  He was a band teacher in Sparta before leaving to work as a Therapist at Menard Correctional Facility.  Bob retired from Menard after working there for many years.  He enjoyed playing instruments of any kind and singing in choirs at some of the local churches.  Bob had a deep voice that would stand out over any large choir.  He was the type of person that could make you believe in something that no one else would.  Bob had a caring heart, especially for his pet dogs.

He was preceded in death by his wife – Ruth Ann Moeller; parents; sister – Louann (Moeller) Mohrman.
