Ricky Trammell

TRAMMELL
Ricky Lynn Trammell, 64, of Granite City, IL; born on July 31, 1954 in Belleville, IL; passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Gateway Medical Center in Granite City, IL.
Mr. Trammell was a retired lead-tech mechanic with the Gilster-Mary Lee Corporation. He attended Dupo High School where he was a track star. Ricky enjoyed playing the harmonica and knew wide variety of songs. Ricky was talented at woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents – Teddy Roosevelt and Lillian Pauline, nee Cripps, Trammell. One brother – Gailen Trammell and one sister- Teddie Jeanette Wilhelm.
He is survived by two sons – Rusty (Stephanie) Trammell of Marissa, IL; Daniel (Mindy) Trammell of New Athens, IL. One brother – Duke Trammell of St. Louis, MO. Two sisters – Vickie Woolford of Sparta, IL; Sherry Steele of Granite City, IL.

Per the family’s request cremation was held. No services are scheduled at this time.
Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL is in charge of arrangements.

Rick and I were very good friends back in our Gilster days……. had a lot of great times with him. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family and I am very sorry for your loss.

Rick was my Brother In-law. He was a good man. He loved his family.
