Rich was one of those people who would do anything for any one. He was such a “giving” kind of guy. He was one of a kind. I was fortunate to have known him and have him in my life for so long. He beat all kinds of odds when he got sick when he was diagnosed with diabetes. He was strong! I could always count on Rich for just about anything. He knew how to live his life the way he wanted, that’s for sure. We went to Florida for vacation one year, and it was one of the best times in my life. I talked him in to parasailing! You should have seen the smile on his face when we were up so high looking over the water. His laugh was contagious and his smile was priceless. A piece of my heart went with him when he left us – I will love and miss him forever.
