Raymond Jaimet Sr.

Mr. Ramond C. “Calvin” Jaimet, Sr, age 87, of Lenzburg, IL born November 15, 1929 in Randolph County, IL, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at his residence. He was a retired porter at General Motors and former member of the Lenzburg, IL fire dept.. He also honorably served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Mr. Jaimet was preceded in death by his son; Raymond “Kelly” Jaimet, Jr., 1 grandson; Zachary Townsend, his parents; Clarence Jaimet and Minnie (Ethington) Jaimet-Connor, 2 sisters; Margaret Foutch and Jean Bush and 2 brothers; Robert Jaimet and Kenneth Jaimet.

Calvin, as he was known, is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mildred (Bense) Jaimet, 2 sons; Dennis Jaimet and David Jaimet all of Lenzburg, IL, daughter-in-law; Brenda Jaimet of San Antonio, TX, 3 grandsons; Jeremy (Liz) Jaimet of Denver, CO, Kyle Jaimet of Cape Coral, FL and Tyler (Becca) Jaimet of Steeleville, IL 1 granddaughter; Nichole Townsend of Fenton, MO and 3 great grandchildren; Matthew, Kaydence and Alex all of Steeleville, IL.

Memorials in Mr. Jaimet’s honor may be made to the Lenzburg, IL Fire Dept.

Visitaion: No visitation times are scheduled.

Funeral: In keeping with Mr. Jaimet’s wishes, cremation is to be held with no services.
