Paul Thomas Milam, 45, of Marissa, IL; born on September 8, 1971 in Belleville, IL; passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 in Marissa, IL.
Mr. Milam was a maintenance supervisor for Prairie State Energy Campus. He also worked for many years at Gateway Mine. Paul enjoyed fishing and like riding motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife Jill, nee Hubler, Milam whom he married on May 26, 2001 in Marissa, IL. His children – Krista (Courtney Mcderby) Milam of San Diego, CA; Melissa Milam of Belleville, IL; Blake Milam of Marissa, IL. His parents – Benjamin and Bonnie, nee Genesio, Milam of Marissa, IL. His brothers – Michael (Judy) Milam of Phoenix, AZ; Steven Milam of Marissa, IL; Stewart (Marsha) Milam of Atlanta, GA. His father-in-law – Don (Sheri) Hubler of Swanwick, IL. His mother-in-law Debbie (Dennis) Lively of Sparta, IL. Sister-in-law – Nikki Pyatt of Sparta, IL. Nephews – Spencer Milam; Dalton Pyatt. Nieces – Nicole Milam; Jessie Pyatt. His aunt – Dorothy Gilley of Marissa, IL.

Memorials may be made to the family.
Visitation: Friends may call at the First Baptist Church in Clairman, IL on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 9:00am to 11:00am.
Funeral: Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Clairman, IL on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 11:00am.
Interment: Burial will be held in the Marissa Township Cemetery in Marissa, IL.
Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL is in charge of arrangements.

ReplyPaul was a wonderful guy, great friend and I really enjoyed fishing with him many times. He will be greatly missed. We are out of town, so couldn’t attend the services. Our deepest condolences and prayers are with the family and all Paul’s loved ones.

Paul was a good friend at work. I trained him to take my place at the mine when I retired ,a task he fell into quite easily. He will be missed.
