Patricia Louise ‘Pat’ Baue

Patricia Louise ‘Pat’ Baue, 81, of Sparta, IL; born September 2, 1942 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of James and Margaret (Kleckner) Howard; passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023 at home.
Pat worked in the Sparta Community School District for 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed watching Sparta sports with her husband, William “Bob” Baue. They were both huge supporters of Sparta athletics and enjoyed watching the kids grow in talent over the years. Pat also participated with Sparta Community Chorus.
She is survived by three children – Beth Birchler of Sparta, IL, Dwight Baue of Sparta, IL, and Douglas (Wendy) Baue of Sparta, IL; eleven grandchildren – Denise (Dustin) Stoffel of Steeleville, IL, Ashley (Kyle) Fredrick of Collinsville, IL, Jay Michael (Jamie) Baue of Sparta, IL, Josh Mitchell Baue of Sparta, IL, Dayton Lane Baue of Pueblo, CA, Haydon Leigh (Tori) Baue of Red Bud, IL, Jordyn Michelle Baue of Sparta, IL, Janelle Dunn of Campbell Hill, IL, Brendan Scott Baue of DeSoto, IL, Claire Elizabeth Baue of Sparta, IL, and Max Andrew Baue of Sparta, IL; eleven great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and husband, William Robert Baue.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Sparta on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Committal Services will take place at Union Cemetery in Sparta immediately following the visitation.
