Patricia Hoffman

Patricia “Trish” Hoffman, nee Martin, 69, of Marissa, IL; born on April 8, 1946 in St. Louis, MO; passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 29, 2015.

Trish was a crew leader at Nabisco Baking Company. She also worked at Hucks Convienent Store in Freeburg for 9 years and Casey’s General Store in Freeburg for 6 years. She was a lifelong lover of animals, especially her beloved dogs – Gidget and Kassey.

She was preceded in death by her parents – George and Dorothy, nee Oberbeck, Martin. Her loving husband – Arley Hoffman who preceded her in death on November 9, 2004.

She is survived by countless friends.

Memorials may be made to the American Humane Society.

Visitation: Friends may call at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and on Friday, July 31, 2015 from 9:00am to 10:00am.

Funeral: Services will be held at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 10:00am with Rev. Douglas Reiche officiating.

Interment: Burial will be held in Oakridge Cemetery in New Athens, IL.

    My mother Dorothy (Dickens at the time) Rapa in St. Louis…. was really good friends with Pat from Nabisco….. I remember going to her house when I was little she was a wonderful lady. I finally remembered her last name again and I am sad to know that she only passed 2 years ago…. I wish I would have known she was still alive…. We lost mom in 2001….. Jason Brooks Alton il
