Patricia Ann, nee Cathcart, Cobb, 66, of Marissa, IL was born on October 21, 1947 in St. Louis, MO and passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta, IL.

Mrs. Cobb spent most of her life as a homemaker but she was also a restaurant owner and operator. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and Macke Senior Center. Pat loved fishing and camping. She also enjoyed croqueting and sewing. She devoted her life to her grandchildren and loved every minute she spent with them especially baking cookies.

She was preceded in death by her parents – Mathew and Bertha, nee Hibner, Cathcart. 1 brother – Jim Black.

She is survived by her husband Lee Cobb whom she married on May 21, 1965 at the First United Methodist Church in Marissa, IL. Her children – Jim Cobb of Marissa, IL; Tim (Jill) Cobb of Imperial, MO; Robb (Leslie) Cobb of Marissa, IL; Mathew (Taylor Hollis) of Marissa, IL. Her grandchildren – Jake; Jami; Alex; Joey; Austen; Brenden. 1 great-grandson – Liam. 2 sisters – Marilyn Blank of Marissa, IL; Brenda Killen of Marissa, IL. 1 sister-in-law – Marilyn Black of Marissa, IL.

Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.

Visitation: Friends may call at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 9:00am to 11:00am.

Funeral: Services will be held at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 11:00am.

Interment: Burial will be held at the Marissa Township Cemetery in Marissa, IL.
