ReplyShe was known to me as “Grandma Teet” even tho I was no relation to her. We lived a few houses down from her as kids and when I took a walk with my mom or Grandma it was always a treat for us to stop and talk to her when she was outside. What a sweet lady! So sorry for your loss. Prayer to the entire family.

ReplyOleta and Gene were long time family friends and almost like relatives. My grandfather was the minister at the First United Methodist Church in Marissa and married Oleta and Gene. Since that time, they were very close to our family. In fact, the cradle built by my great-grandfather was in possession of Oleta and Gene and Oleta gave us the cradle for the birth of our 2nd child over 32 years ago. That same cradle was refurbished again almost 3
