Mildred Ann Murphy

MURPHY
Mildred Ann (Weaver) Murphy, 76, of Tilden, IL, the daughter of William Brandon Weaver and Frances Ann (Greene) Medder; born on July 15, 1945 in Tuscaloosa, AL; passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at her home.
Mildred enjoyed scrapbooking, gardening, and watching shows like Law & Order or the Blacklist. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mildred was always there to help anyone and was a stranger to no one.
She was preceded in death by her husband – James Olan Murphy who passed away on January 18, 2003; parents; grandchildren – William Murphy, Robert Murphy, and Devon Theriot; brothers – Johnny Weaver and Jimmy Weaver.
Mildred is survived by five children – Tammy (Thomas) Vogler of Tilden, IL, Pam (Ronald) Hawkey of Collinsville, IL, James Murphy of Tilden, IL, Mark Murphy of Dupo, IL, and Paula (Brett) Theriot of Marissa, IL; thirteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother – William Brandon (Laura) Weaver of Coaling, AL; one sister – Anna Medders.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Tilden Presbyterian Church.
Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.heilschuessler.com.
The visitation will be held at Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Tilden, IL on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Dennis Hamilton officiating. Interment will be held at Oakridge Cemetery in New Athens, IL.
Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Tilden, IL is in charge of arrangements

I worked with Mildred at Freeburg Care Center…she was a hard worker & a very kind, sweet lady. Condolences to her family, & daughter, who also worked at FCC for a while.

Mom was the strongest woman I have ever known. She will be greatly missed. I LOVE YOU NOW AND FOREVER REST IN PEACE WITH THE REST OF OUR LOVED ONES
