LITTLE

Merle Wynn Little, 76, of Tilden, IL, born on January 20, 1944 in Lively Grove Township, IL, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at New Athens Home for the Aged in New Athens, IL.

Merle enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He worked at Granite City Steel, Nascote and ran his own tree trimming service.  He was also a chair of AA meetings.

He was preceded in death by his parents – Leonard and Margaret Velma (Torrens) Little.  Siblings – Ninabelle Hindman, Velva (Leo) Birkenmeier, Roberta (Jim) Harris, Leotta (Carl) Styles, David Little, Leonard Little, Gerald Little, Bill (Ruth) Little, Marvin Little, Martha Rogers, Margaret Lloyd and Rodney (Brenda) Little.  Special friend – Ruby Wingerter.

Merle is survived by two sons – Greg Little and Scott Little. Grandchildren – Laci Little, Nick Little, Scott Little, Jr. and Victoria Little.  Sisters-in-law – Rosalie Little, Eileen Little and Yvonne Little.  Brother-in-law – Jeff Rogers.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Athens Home for the Aged Activity Fund.

Funeral:  Services will be held at Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Tilden, IL on Monday, June 8, 2020 with Pastor Paul Hahn officiating.

Interment:  Burial will be held at Percy Village Cemetery in Percy, IL.

Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Tilden, IL is in charge of arrangements.
