HERZOG

Margaret Louise Herzog, 86, of Sparta, IL; born on February 13, 1937 in Sparta, IL the daughter of Ernest and Agnes (Robertson) Fulton; passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Margaret spent most of her life in Sparta before moving to Arkansas.  She worked at the First National Bank of Sparta as a bookkeeper.  Margaret enjoyed watching Cardinals games with her husband, Eugene.

She is survived by two sisters-in-law – Ruth Herzog and Betty Fulton; one brother-in-law – James Boyd; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband – Eugene Herzog who passed away on October 27, 2019; sister – Sarah B. Boyd; brother – William R. Fulton; step-mother – Lucille Fulton; two brothers-in-law – Donald Herzog and Marvin Herzog.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held at Evansville City Cemetery in Evansville, IL on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Hahn officiating.  Friends and Family that would like to attend are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.
