My sympathy to the entire Keil family. I grew up on the best block in town. If I wasn’t at Keil’s, then I was probably at Hein’s or Schmierbach’s, or running up and down the alley between them all. I’ll always remember playing in the playhouse or basement at Keil’s and staying for dinner lots of times too. I guess Mae wondered sometimes if I ever spent time at home! She was such a beautiful person and I can still

My sympathy and love to Mae’s family and they lose someone very special and I lose a special friend and neighbor. We had many good shopping/lunch times in the time of life when we had the time and good friends to get together easier. Loved going to Red Lobster and all the other good food places together. And our Fri. nite trips as a group to eat out. She even let me play cards a few times, and I am

My deepest sympathy to the Keil family. Mae was very special neighbor and friend. I will always remember how kind she was to everyone. Our families were neighbors first in Lenzburg in the 50″s and then in New Athens again. We had some great vacations together and have some wonderful memories.
The Keil family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Love Judy Hopfinger

I am broken hearted at the loss of my grandma. Not only am I losing a grandma, but also a very close friend. My grandma meant the world to me. When I was growing up, she was like a second mother with her love and emotional support. I will never forget her kindness and generosity. She always would willingly offer to help anyone through a tough time. I can not thank her enough for the influence she has on my

My condolences to the family at the loss of Mae. She was a very special lady who was always very welcoming when visiting her. My kids grew up calling her grandma Mae and always feeling special in her presence. She was so good to my husband Michael growing up with Jason. Nothing but great memories! I wish her much love and comfort as she has returned home for eternal peace. Glad that she can rest pain free while watching over her loved ones.

    Love,

Truly one of the most compassionate people I have ever met in my life. She was very influential and very proud of her family. I spent countless times at her house where she welcomed me as if I was one of her very own. My heart goes out to her family and friends. Mae touched many people’s lives and always had a smile that warmed the room. Her grandson- Jason and I were the best of friends. I only heard

Will always remember Mae, was the sweetest person to us all. And after we were grown she was so good Mom. Neighbors like that don’t exist anymore. So glad we got to know her and all the family. Thoughts and prayers are with you. May “special memories” comfort you.
