Lorraine Coke

Lorraine Coke, nee Gabriel, 65, of Sparta, IL, born January 5, 1957 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Saturday October 1, 2022. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Coke was preceded in death by her father – Thomas Gabriel, Sr.,and her husband – John Coke, Jr., whom she married on August 22, 1981, and who passed away on March 24, 2017.
Lorraine is survived by her mother – Fay (Stout) Sumner her children – Jennifer (Josh) Brown, Tina (Steve) Womack, Bucky (Courtney) Buskirk, Cindy (Terry) Hamon, Lori Coke and Johnnie Coke, III, her siblings – Fay Gabriel, May (Ted) Batemen, Chris (Brian) Mezel, Tina (Richard) Frazer, Mark (Sammy) Gabriel, Tommy Gabriel, Bruce Gabriel, Tammy Gabriel and Charles (Susan) Sumner, grandchildren – Maci Blanford, Darwin Broussard, Devin Vanvlack, Brendon Vanvlack, Cassie Bodendieck, Emilyn Hoffman, Lucas Buskirk, Carley Taylor, Camden Taylor, Ava Coke, Riley Hamon, Jaxson Stacy and Trinity Stacy, great grandchildren – Aubri and Luna Blanford,and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Visitation: Friends and family will be gathering from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday October 7, 2022 at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL.
Funeral: Friends and family are invited to take part in sharing fond memories and stories about Lorraine at 11 a.m. on Friday October 7, 2022, at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL with Rev. Robert Koch officiating. Burial at Marissa TWP Cemetery will follow the services.
Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL is in charge of arrangements.
