Lois P. Cunningham, 74, of Sparta, IL; born on May 14, 1945 in Sparta, IL; passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, IL.

Lois worked at the Sparta Public Library for many years. She loved needle point and other various crafts. She spent a lot of time caring for her aunt and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents – Floyd L. and Pearl M. (Norvell) Cunningham. Three brothers – Charles, Raymond and Lawrence Cunningham.

She is survived by her Sisters-in-law – Elaine Cunningham of Red Bud, IL and Virginia Cunningham of Tilden, IL. Nieces and Nephews – Kelly Holcomb, Kathy Cunningham, Craig (Paula) Cunningham, John Cunningham, Lynnette (Greg) Elceser and Michael Cunningham (fiancé – LuAnn Brigham). Great Nieces and Nephews. Great Great Nieces and Nephews. Other relatives and friends.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Sparta Public Library. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Funeral: Due to restrictions that are in place during the COVID-19 outbreak, a private service will be held for the family.

Interment: Burial will be held at Caledonia Cemetery in Sparta, IL.
