Leroy M. Frech, 95, of Lenzburg, IL, Born on May 2, 1923 in Lenzburg, IL, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018.
Leroy Frech was a truck Driver for Eagle Range and a security guard for Marissa Mines. He was a member of the St. Agatha’s Catholic Church in New Athens, IL. Lee was a World War II United States Army veteran serving in the landing on Normandy Beach 6-6-1944, Battle of the Bulge and the North African and European Campaign. Leroy was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed woodcarving.
He was preceded in death by his parents – Henry and Frances, nee Gross, Frech. His first wife Margaret, nee Meister, Frech, grand daughter Brenda Briggance, and 6 brothers – Herman Frech; Wilford “Bebe” Frech; Clarence Frech; Wilmer Frech; Herbert Frech; Harold Frech. 2 sisters – Pearl Albers; Martha Loesche – Hoops. Grand-daughter Brenda Briggance. Sons- In-Law James Briggance and Amos Wade Harris.
He is survived by his wife June, nee Hamill, Frech, His Son, Dennis (Jackie) Frech, Daughters Deborah Harris, and Jerry Briggance. grandchildren, Dan W. Harris, Wade Lee (Terri) Harris, Dennis Lee Jr. (Julie) Frech and John (Stacia) Eric, Reggie Briggance and Denise Bulkholt, 14 Great Grand Children, and 1 Great, Great Grand Daughter. Step-Children – Glenn Kane, Donald (Cindy) Kane, Eddie (Diana) Kane, Diane (Jim) Warehol, Vickie Rednour.

Funeral: Services will be held at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 11:00am with Deacon Corbin Valentine officiating.
Interment: Burial will be held in the St. Peter United Church of Christ Cemetery in Lenzburg, IL.
