Laverne Lea, nee Lewis, Snyder, 56 of Lenzburg, IL, born August 14, 1956 in St. Louis, MO passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012 at her residence. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents DaVerne and Mary (Raper) Lewis.
Laverne is survived by her husband, John E. Snyder of Lenzburg, son John “Preston” Snyder of Carlyle, IL 3 brothers; Kerry Lewis of Freeburg, IL, Randall Lewis of Belleville, IL Steven Lewis of Rolla, MO; 3 sisters; twin sister Lavonne Edwards of Millstadt, IL, Larraine Jones of Bowling Green, KY and Rebecca Wartenbe of Mt. Olive IL. Also survived by father-in-law John B. Snyder, “In loving memory of my daughter-in-law Laverne”.
Memorials are encouraged to be made to Hospice of Southern Ilinois.
Visitation/Services; In keeping with Mrs. Snyder’s wishes, cremation was to take place with no visitation or services.
Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in New Athens, IL is in charge of arrangements
