RIP dear Laverne. I always loved talking to you as a neighbor and many times on Facebook. You were such an incredible inspiration…you never gave in to any adversity…health or otherwise. You were a fighter! I’ll always remember how you stood on a chair in your bedroom and looked out the window when me and/or my sister were leaving for dances and proms with our dates. May God bless you and hold you in His Presence. Prayers for everyone.

I don’t even know where to start with what kind of wonderful friend, neighbor and person Laverne was. She was caring, fun, funny and loved everyone unconditionally. Jim and Laverne were neighbors for years and lifelong friends. My heart is broken and filled with sadness for Jim, Larry, Lyle and the rest of the family. Thoughts and prayers for you all. Much love! Myron and Pamela

Sincere sympathy to Jim and family. Laverne was the heart of this loving and giving family and will be dearly missed. Our comfort is in the knowledge of her strong Christian life and her reward is now at hand. She is free of her physical disabilities now and in a better place. Her life is to be celebrated as a life well lived.

Laverne was so great to work with at Sparta Hospital!! She always kept us laughing at her funny “Laverne-isms” like saying the whole day had been a total “cat’sasstophe”. I have loved running into her now and then in the years since we worked together and she will be fondly remembered and loved forever by many!! Prayers of peace to her family.

Laverne was an angel on earth. Should watched over my mother when she lost her eye sight and was always there when mom needed her. She is now resting with our Lord. Our prayers go out to Jim and the rest of her family and friends. Sendind much love.

Will miss getting the gang together to come to Biddleborn in September. Enjoyed all our outings throughout the years with our “Group Birthday and Red Hat Clubs”. You always gave me hope and courage to carry on through my bad times – Hodgikins Lymphoma, Renal Cancer, various other surgeries – and your kind words when my Scruffy was mauled and seriously hurt. I will treasure the Get Well card you sent to Scruffy with the knowledge that I was a DOG MOM. I know you are an angel and will keep an eye on all of us. Prayers to your family.
