Miss June Catherine Romano, 91, of Swansea, IL, born April 18, 1929 in University City, MO, passed away on Sunday January 10, 2021 at Mercy Rehab in Swansea, IL. Miss Romano was a Civil Service employee.  She received numerous special achievement awards for high quality performance throughout her career as a secretary and for her faithful federal service to the United States Air Force. She was a member of NARFE – The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents; John and Anna Caroline (Knoke) Romano and her brother; John Patrick Romano.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Thursday January 14, 2021 at Marissa TWP Cemetery in Marissa, IL with Deacon Corby Valentine officiating.
