Joyetta “Joy” Sheridan, 89, of Tilden, IL; born on June 28, 1931 in East St. Louis, IL; passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at the Randolph County Care Center in Sparta, IL.
Joy enjoyed reading different novels. She was a member of the Tilden Presbyterian Church and participated in a group known as the Ollie Dunn Circle.
She was preceded in death by her husband – James W. Sheridan who passed away on November 1, 1997. Parents – Dolph and Gladys (Tozier) Williams.
She is survived by her special daughter – Judy Etling of Tilden, IL. Sister-in-law – Berta Sheridan of Millstadt, IL. Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and numerous church friends.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Tilden Presbyterian Church or the Tilden Fire Department.
Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.heilschuessler.com.
Visitation: Friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2020 at the Tilden Presbyterian Church.
Funeral: Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2020 at the Tilden Presbyterian Church with Dennis Hamilton officiating.
Interment: Burial will be held at the Marissa Township Cemetery in Marissa, IL.
Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Tilden, IL is in charge of arrangements

Judy, very sorry for your loss. I loved stopping by her table when I was vs my mama in the NH. She was so excited to be Valentine Queen. Hugs n prayers for your family

Joy and Jim were my next door neighbors for about 10 yrs while living in Marissa. They were both like family to me. We were very saddened to hear the news of Joys passing. Our deepest sympathies to both you & your family.
