Sorry to hear of Jerold’s passing. We sat in his yard to watch the parades and he would call sometimes just to talk. He and Gloria always liked to have a racoon or two to eat years ago when I did a lot of hunting. He would call and ask for Mr, Heyl never Charlie. We have missed seeing him passing by on his motorized chair too. Our sympathy to all of the Cox family

Dad so looked forward to your visits and of course the delicious food you brought. Glad you had time together. He earned his reward.

  6. My wife, Mary and I are deeply saddened by Jerold’s passing. Please accept our deepest condolences. Jerold and I met after Jerold and I took a DNA test and we were matched. We are 2nd cousins. Our grandmothers were sisters. We met in person for the first time almost 8 years ago. Like Cathy, we too spent time on the back porch drinking coffee and listening to Jerold’s stories about the war, working as an iron worker and working in the coal mines. I spent many hours in Gloria’s office going through her genealogical research. Jerold, Gloria and all of the kids are now in my family tree.
