    Jean Alice (nee King) Bottino, age 82, of Marissa, IL, born September 19, 1937 in Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019 at Pinckneyville Nursing and Rehab Center in Pinckneyville, IL.  Mrs. Bottino was a retired bookkeeper and pharmacy technician. She was also a United States Navy veteran.
    Mrs. Bottino was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward “Red” Bottino, whom she married on October 31, 1965 at First United Methodist Church in Marissa, IL and who passed away on July 7, 1985, her parents; Harold Eugene and Theo May (Moak) King, 1 brother-in-law Donald Yurgec and 1 step grandson; Joshua Dorf.
    Jean is survived by her 3 daughters; Linda (Kent) Shubert of Nashville, IL, Denise Ashdown of Millstadt, IL and Kelly (Wayne) Foster of Freeburg, IL, 2 step daughters; Denise (the late Kenny) Dorf of Tilden, IL and Tina (Bill) Hillebrandt of Chesterfield, MO,2 brothers; Bill (Karen) King of Marissa, IL and Steven (Anne) King of Clinton, MO, 1 sister; Kathy Yurgec of Freeburg, IL, 5 grandchildren; Brock (Lara) Holston, Alicia Sweet, Breck Foster, Briana Foster, Bryce Foster, 1 step granddaughter; Jenny Dorf and 5 great grandchildren; Madison Foster, Blaize Foster, Sutton Sweet, Asher Sweet and Tucker Holston.
    In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Jean’s honor to be made to First United Methodist Church of Marissa or the Marissa Library.

    Visitation; Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:30 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2019 at First United Methodist Church of Marissa, IL.
    Funeral: Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2019 at First United Methodist Church of Marissa, IL with Rev. David Nottrott officiating.  Burial will follow at Marissa TWP Cemetery in Marissa, IL.
    Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL is in charge of arrangements.
