GIACOMO

Janet Larue Giacomo, 68, of Coulterville, IL; born on November 18, 1954 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Johnny Moore and Phyllis (Smith) Aaron; passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, IL surrounded by her loving family.

Janet loved spending time with her husband, Jim.  They enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.  She was a caring mother and grandmother that always put her family first.

She is survived by her loving husband – Jimmy Giacomo of Coulterville, IL; two daughters  – Serena (Curtess) Smith of Coulterville, IL and Lisa (Darryl) Clarke of Sparta, IL; two brothers – Terry Daniel and Jason Aaron; four grandchildren – Darryl Clarke Jr., Mindy (Keyel Keen) Clarke, Sean Smith, and Jada Smith; one great grandchild – Liyl Keen; two sisters – Mary Jane Daniel and Sharon Weekes.

Janet was preceded in death by three brothers – Tim Daniel, Troy Daniel, and Orlynn Daniel; one sister – Regina Miller.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Sparta, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
