James M. Simon

James M. Simon, 61, of Lenzburg, IL, born November 13, 1957 in Red Bud, IL, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Kindred Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Mr. Simon was an electrician.

Mr. Simon was preceded in death by his parents; Marion and Fern (nee Dintelman) Simon.

James is survived by his wife, Luann M. (nee Brockmeyer) Simon of Lenzburg IL, whom he married on January 29, 1977 at First United Methodist Church in Marissa, IL,  2 children; Josh Simon and Amber Simon, both of Marissa, IL 1 brother; William (Janice) Simon of Arkansas, and 5 grandchildren; Alex, Skyler, Kyle, Chase and Chance.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Visitation; Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, November 11, 2019 at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL

Funeral: Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 11, 2019 at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL with John Baker and Curt Stewart officiating.  In keeping with James’ wishes, cremation will follow.

Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL is in charge of arrangements.
