Gregory Clyde Wiggand, 52, of Sparta, IL; was born on October 1, 1961 in Belleville, IL; passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at his home.
Greg loved being a truck driver. He worked as a driver for various companies including Swyear Amusements of New Athens for 16 years and for Gilster – Mary Lee for 8 years.
He is preceded in death by his father – Clyde Wiggand. 1 niece – Abigail Bortko.
He is survived by his son – Thomas Wiggand of Millstadt, IL. His mother – Wilma, nee Schuster, Wiggand-Brautigam of Marissa, IL. 1 brother – Larrie (Kimi) Wiggand of New Athens, IL. 3 sisters – Jennifer (Scott) Bussinger of Newcastle, WA; Jayne (Robin) Corbin of Murfreesboro, TN; Cathy (Wes) Adwell of Bowling Green, KY. 2 step-brothers – Tim (Rhonda) Manly of Fairview Heights, IL; Shane Wiggand. 12 nieces and nephews and 5 great-nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Visitation: Friends may call from at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 10:00am to 11:00am.
Funeral: Services will be held at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11:00am with Rev. Dr. Robert Koch officiating.
Interment: Burial will be held in St. Peter United Church of Christ Cemetery in Lenzburg, IL.
