Aunt Gertie was the best. We enjoyed many laughs. We had a wonderful trip to New York City; Gertie, Mom and me – I will always remember all the fun we had…and her pecan pies. I love her and will miss her.

My memories are too many to name, just my friend and neighbor for so long, and all we shared. Some good times, some not so good and everything in between. If only I could have kept up with her thoughtful ways, but who could. Thanks for being my friend just down the alley.
