Georgia Ann Rezba

REZBA
Georgia Ann Rezba, 93, of Sparta, IL; born on February 22, 1927 in Percy, IL; passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 in the Sparta Community Hospital.
She was a graduate from Sparta High School. Georgia worked as a cook at the Randolph County Care Center. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sparta.
Georgia was preceded in death by her husband – Willis Dale Rezba who passed away on May 21, 1997; Parents – James and Lela (Buescher) Ashley; Four brothers – Jim Ashley, Gene Ashley, Robert Leland Ashley and Bill Ashley; Three sisters – Iva Mae Estoppey, Marcella Henderson and Doris Wahl.
She is survived by three children – Linda S. (Ron) Steen of Sparta, IL, Willis E. (Patricia) Rezba of Herscher, IL and Keith D. (Cathy) Rezba of Pinckneyville, IL; Three brothers – Don (Carol) Ashley of Sparta, IL, Carl (Linda) Ashley of Ventura, CA and Roger (Eldonna) Ashley of Zanesfield, OH; Seven grandchildren; Fifteen great grandchildren; Many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Sparta, IL.

Visitation: Friends and family may gather on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at the Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Sparta, IL from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Funeral: Due to restrictions that are in place during the COVID-19 pandemic, a private service will be held for the family on Monday, December 28, 2020 with Rev. Randy McGeehon officiating.
Interment: Burial will be held at Caledonia Cemetery in Sparta, IL.
Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Sparta, IL is in charge of arrangements
