My mother Julia Wilson had taught the 1st Communion Classes at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for many years here in Sparta. After my mothers passing, Sissy gladly took over teaching these classes from where my mother left off. Just like my mother, Sissy always taught her children from her heart. These children were her family. Her family was her family. Her friends were her family. Her Catholic Church was her family. Her rosary was her family. Need I go on? ……. With that being said, Sissy is now with her “Heavenly Family” as should be! Sissy was a true believer in the teachings of Jesus and followed Him with her heart. This was the reason that Sissy always taught from her heart as previously stated. ……. “May God’s Holy Angels remain with Sissy as she is now in the presence of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and now shrouding Sissy with His Divine Glory, forever and ever!” Amen!

Heaven did truly claim an asset today; Evelyn was always kind, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. Her father and mine were great friends sharing stories of the ‘good’ ol’ days. Condolences for all of her family and friends.

I was very saddened to hear the news of Evelyn’s passing. She was a beloved sister in our Misawa family. It was always a joy to see her smiling and friendly face at our Misawa reunions. It is obvious that Evelyn was very much loved and brought a lot of love and beauty to the world – just as she will in Heaven. I was blessed to have known Evelyn and to have her in the tapestry of my life.
