Eli Pringle

Eli L. Pringle, 89; of Lenzburg, IL; born September 29, 1922 in Corning, Arkansas; passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, IL.
Mr. Pringle retired from the Alton Southern Railroad after 20 years. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in WWII. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Marissa, IL and a member of VFW Post 7710 in New Athens, IL.
He is preceded in death by his parents Eli and Eunice, nee Button, Pringle. 2 sons – Christopher Pringle; Dale Pringle. 1 grandson – Frederick Pringle.
He is survived by his wife Maudia Ann, nee Rush, Pringle whom he married on January 25, 1946 in Corning, Arkansas. 3 sons – Fred (Cissy) Pringle of Waterloo, IL; Les (Becky) Pringle of Collinsville, IL; Larry Pringle. 3 grandchildren – Kimberly Pringle; Gregory (Eileen) Pringle; Lexia Pringle. 6 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.

Visitation: Friends may call at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Friday, June 15, 2012 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and on Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 10:00am to 11:00am.

Funeral: Services will be held at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 11:00am with Pastor Gale Lambert officiating.

Interment: Burial will be held at the Marissa Township Cemetery in Marissa, IL.
