Eddie H. Bullock, 76, of Marissa, IL; born on May 5, 1940 in Centertown, KY; passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.
Eddie was a deacon a Faith Baptist Church. He was a long time scout and former Cub master of Pack 327. He was a retired coal miner. Eddie was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan. He was also an avid fishman.
He was preceded in death by his parents – Hulon and Josephine, nee Boone, Bullock. Two sons – Anthony “Tony” Bullock and Terry Lynn Bullock.
He is survived by his wife – Ruth V., nee McCoy, Bullock whom he married on December 12, 1959 in Echols, KY. His daughters – Penny (Jerry) Coerver of Sedalia, MO; Robin Geralds of Marissa, IL; Brooke Bullock of Marissa, IL. His son – Chad Bullock of Nashville, IL. His grandchildren – Michael (Cheryl) Promesberger; Jeremy Bullock; Whitney Bullock; Dustin Johnson; Erica Johnson; Stephanie (Rusty) Trammell; Christopher (Bre) Geralds; Alayna Bullock; Berkley Bullock; Parker Bullock; Bristol Bullock; Terry Miller; Chelsey Hoffman; Jon Hoffman. His great-grandchildren – Chase Bullock; Anthony Bullock; Zachery Johnson; Cherry Humphries; Devyn Bolden; Rashad Robinson; Austin Laythum; Xavier Trammel; Rose Trammel. One great-great grandson – Chance Bullock. His sisters – Betty (V.T.) Brigance of Centertown, KY; Bonnie (Tony) Geary of Hartford, KY; LyFronda Doolin of Maceo, KY. His brothers –Freddie (Vivian) Bullock of Centertown, KY; Wayne (Ruth D.) Bullock of Beaver Dam, KY.

Memorials may be made to Cub Scout Pack 327.
Visitation: Friends may call at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. The family requests that those in attendance wear Wildcats or blue and white attire in memory of Eddie.
Funeral: Services will be held at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 6:00pm with Rev. Tom Toenjes officiating.
Interment will be held at Small Hause Cemetery in Centertown, KY.
Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL is in charge of arrangements.

ReplySo sorry for the loss of a great man. Eddie was a very generous man passionate about the Scouting program. He always had a smile on his face. He was a true is pirating to any young man who had the pleasure of his mentoring in the Scouting program. He truly made a difference in this world. He will be missed but never forgotten! RIP Eddie!.
