Dorothy, nee Noble, Weshinskey, 80, of Freeburg, IL; formerly of Marissa, IL. Born on January 14, 1938; passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, IL.
Mrs. Weshinskey was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her friends at Cedar Trails Assisted Living. Dorothy was also a lifelong lover of cats.
She was preceded in death by her father – Joseph Noble. Her mother – Gladys “Peggy”, nee Layton, Stone. Her step-father – Norman Stone. Her husband – Bruce Weshinskey whom she married on May 8, 1963 and who passed away on March 11, 2005. One grandson – Oakley. Three brothers – Brian Noble; William Noble; Harry Noble.
She is survived by her children – Stephen Weshinskey of Carbondale, IL; Dale (Carolyn) Weshinskey of McHenry, IL; Wayne (Barb) Weshinskey of Tilden, IL; Tracy (Ed) Gardiner of Freeburg, IL. Her grandchildren – Jessica; Jacqueline; Vanessa; Renee; Alexa; Raven; Ethan. Her great-grandchildren – Aubree; Carsen; Lilian; Jossalyn; Xander; Rhiannon; Kallie; Noylan; Maxwell. One sister – Shirley Hartley. Niece – Sandra (Clive) Howard. And her cat – Spooky.
Memorials may be made to the Belleville Humane Society or Cedar Trails Assisted Living.
