Dorothy Joy Fearing

Dorothy Joy Fearing

FEARING

Dorothy Joy Fearing, born sleeping into eternal rest on August 15, 2022; the daughter of Olin Ross and Emily Anne (Prouty) Fearing.

As stated in Psalm 139:16, “Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.”

Dorothy Joy is survived by her loving parents and six siblings – Reyna, Barnabas, Lydia, Annabelle, Natalie, and Lawrence Fearing.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Embrace Grace at Lighthouse Assembly of God.  Donations may be mailed to 221 W. Stevenson Drive, Sparta, IL 62286 or dropped off on Tuesday – Friday from 9:30a.m. to 4:00p.m.  Checks may be made payable to Lighthouse Assembly of God with a memo labeled “Embrace Grace”.

Dorothy’s parents trust the Lord to uphold for little Dorothy; his mighty covenant promises to Abraham and those of Abraham’s faith in the coming Redeemer: “I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your descendants after you” (Gen. 12:7). This hope, we are sure, belongs to all those of like precious faith, “for the promise is for you and your children, and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God shall call” (Acts 2:39).
