I know you will all be scratching your heads to figure out who I am. My grandmother was Myrtle Hamilton and my aunt was Alberta Hamilton who lived across the street from your house on South Park Avenue in Marissa.
I remember how welcome Mrs. Campbell always made me feel in your home and how much fun your family had. When I visited my grandmother and aunts Kathy and I would play and visit.
Please accept my condolences. May you find comfort in the pleasant memories of good times you shared together. I pray that God will give you peace as you grieve her loss.

Sometimes there are people in our lives that make such an impact that we carry them in our minds and hearts forever. Mrs. Campbell is one such person. She was my first grade teacher and I loved her. Her patience and kindness will never be forgotten.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Your mom was a wonderful, strong woman. She taught both of my children and I had the pleasure of working with her for a couple of years.
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Your mother and mine (Mary Fehner) were such great friends at school and afterwards when they retired. I always will remember how nice Dorothy was to me and all of my family. She was always kind and welcoming to all the various teenagers that would hang out in her yard, porch or inside when visiting Bonnie. She will always be a memory of kindness and friendship. Thank you God for our mothers’ friendship and for allowing me know her.

Dear cousons,
Your mother was a very special person in our lives and the lives of our family ,and it is no surprise that she was special to many other people. We go back a long way. I remember her riding wilth us to carbondale after a visit to tilden and i remember your dad coming to pick her up in tilden during the courting days. She was a strong person and was almost always positive and upbeat. a good life well lived! bless her memory.

My thoughts and sympathy are with the entire Campbell family on the death of Dorothy. Dorothy is part of a generation that has given so much to me by way of history, love and family. Even though we are not able to travel to Marissa, at this time, we are thinking of Dorothy today. I am so glad we were able to visit last year and join Dorothy for her 90th Birthday. I know my mom, Darlene Fritz, is sadden to have missed the service. I have some great pictures and memories of our visits with Dorothy that will be treasured forever.
My love to the family, Susan
