We are so sorry for your loss. Duck was a special friend of the Werner family. She and my brother shared a birthday and for many years exchanged a call and card on that date. My mother was playing golf with her when she made that hole in one. I was comforted many times when mother went to nursing home with cards and calls. She was an amazing lady who brought love and laughter to so many. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

I have MANY, but here are two: (1.) When I left Annual Conference in 1973 to come to Marisa-Zion as my first appointment, Duck’s sister Elizabeth Walkington, wife of retired pastor L. B. Walkington said to me, “My sister is in your Church. I hope you’ll love my sister.” Well, I certainly did. (2.) Liz Bluff Reynolds and I got married in September of 1974, and Cade Wentz and Carol Spier Wentz got married in April 1974. Several of us
