Donald Langwith Sr.

Donald Glenn Langwith, Sr., 71, of Sparta, IL; born on July 31, 1948 in Sparta, IL; passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Shiloh, IL.
Mr. Langwith worked at World Color Press and Nascote. He was a United States Marine Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Sparta. Donald was also a carpenter and loved to build. He was also a very dedicated donor to both the Sparta and Coulterville School Districts.
He was preceded in death by his parents – Edward and Ruby, nee Patterson, Langwith. Two brothers – Noel Foster and Ronald Rongey.
He is survived by his wife – Loretta, nee Stork, Langwith whom he married on August 17, 2019 in Sparta, IL. Two sons – Donald (Jolene) Langwith Jr. of Sparta, IL; Derreck (Hyewon In) Langwith of Chicago, IL. His grandchildren – Titus Langwith; Ryker Langwith. Three brothers – Tom (Evelyn) Foster Sr; Carl (Linda) Foster; Darrell (Paula) Rongey. Two sisters – Della Snyder; Linda Hartman.
Memorials may be made to the Sparta or Coulterville School Districts.

Visitation: Friends may call at Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Sparta, IL on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and at Loyalty Baptist Church in Eden, IL on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
Funeral: Services will be held at Loyalty Baptist Church in Eden, IL on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 1:00pm with Rev. Tom Foster officiating.
Interment: Burial will be held at Cutler Cemetery in Cutler, IL.
Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Sparta, IL is in charge of arrangements.

My sympathy to the family, especially to Linda as I think of David often. We lost Nancy Falkenhain in 2002 and she had been so upset over David’s passing.
