David Allen Brown, 36, of Sparta, IL; born on May 20, 1983 in Red Bud, IL; passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at his home.

David was an excellent mechanic. He was the “go to” guy for a lot of people that needed help with their vehicle. He was always there for someone that needed guidance and he did whatever he could to make things easier for a friend in need.

He was preceded in death by his Father – Glen Brown. Niece – Alexis Jones.

He is survived by his Wife – Kelly (McDaniel) Brown to whom he married in Randolph County, IL on March 9, 2019. Mother – Desi (Laramore) Mooney of Sardis, TN. Three Children – Autumn Lynn Brown of Pontoon, IL; Douglas Allen Brown of Sparta, IL; Zachary Glen Brown of Chicago, IL. Two Step-Children – Tracy Lynn Brewer of Lexington, TN and Paul Jakob Brewer of Lexington, TN. Four Brothers – Scott Laramore of Belleville, IL; Glen (Amanda) Brown of Coulterville, IL; Brad Brown of Jasper, IN; Charles “Chuck” (Ashley) Goodman of Sparta, IL. Two Sisters – Pamela Jones of Memphis, TN and Brandy (A.J.) Martin of Madisonville, KY.

    Met Dave when I moved to Illinois as a teenager. Always was glad to hear when he was doing well. Sad to hear about his death and hope he is resting peacefully now. My prayers for his family to have strength during this difficult time
