Dava Kaye Daugherty, 64, of Marissa, IL, born August 29, 1956 in Daviess County, KY, passed away on Sunday August 1, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Daugherty was a factory worker, a daycare owner and a CNA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Orville and Gradie (Neighbors) Huff, two brothers; Cecil Huff and Shelby Glen Huff and one sister; Lula Mae Huff.

Dava is survived by her husband; Kerry Daugherty, who she married on December 24, 1972 in Echols, KY, daughter Melissa Kaye (Kent) Feig of Marissa, IL, son; Christopher Dale (Christie) Daugherty of Marissa, nine siblings; Faye Johnson, Louise Webb, Tanya Daugherty, Ruthann Johnson, Betty Pirtle, Jerry Huff, Orville Ray Huff Bobby Huff and James Huff, five grandchildren; Maclain, Chase, Casey, Carter and Maddison Daugherty and one great grandchild; Hayden Daugherty.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Visitation: Friends and family may attend from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday August 6, 2021 at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL.

Funeral:  Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday August 6, 2021 at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL.

Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL is in charge of arrangements.
